Spring Events & Classes at A to Zinnia
Spring is finally here, and our community is ready to get out and enjoy some fun activities while supporting our small, local businesses. Here at A to Zinnia, we have some wonderful events and classes coming up to help you celebrate the arrival of spring and to spend some quality time with your friends and family. Here is a list of everything we have coming up for the next couple of months!
Come visit us at the store to check out all the new spring clothing, jewelry, gifts, and home décor! Refreshments will be provided, and purchases over $20 will get a free gift, while supplies last. Plus, Sweethaven Tonics will pop up from 9a-3p each day of the open house. We cannot wait to see you there, but in the meantime, here are some sneak peeks at all of the great home decor, accessories, clothing, and more that we have in-store right now!
A to Zinnia Classes
Class sizes this year will be limited to ensure the health and safety of all our participants. All classes start on the hour for the times listed.
Plant Parenting - $10
Learn the basics of houseplant care, the benefits of having plants in your home, tips and tricks to help them thrive, and the best varieties for your home.
You will get to take home one 4” plant with a value of $10 for you to practice your plant parenting skills on.
Class dates: Thursday, April 15th from 10am to 6pm and Saturday, April 17th from 9am to 3pm with one-hour slots available.

May Day Make and Take - $10
The perfect gift for your grandparents, neighbor, or teachers. This springy arrangement will surely brighten someone’s May Day!
Class date: Friday, April 30th with one-hour slots available from 9am to 6pm.

Summer Solstice Make & Take Flower Crown - Adult $20 and Kids $10
Create a beautiful flower crown to use for your summer solstice party, or use them as the perfect additions to your summertime Mother/Daughter photo session!
Class date: Saturday, June 18th with one-hour slots available from 9am to 3pm.

Hacker’s Garden Center Classes
Class sized will be limited to ensure the health and safety of all our participants. All classes include creative instruction, container, planting medium, care instructions, and a select number of plants. You are welcome to bring your own containers (Please have old soil dumped out).
We will accept groups of 8-10 for a private class. Call 507-359-9900 to sign up!
Aroma Therapy with Herbs - $40
Grow Herbs in containers for use in Aroma Therapy. Sample homemade lotions and recipes to make your own!

Plant a beautiful outdoor container, then leave it in our greenhouse to grow until May!

Mosquito Repelling class-$40
Keep those pesky bugs away! Create a fragrant container that mosquitos and other insects dislike. There are many plants to keep the bugs away! Add this planter to your patio or by your door.
