The Holidays are Here! Important Dates to Remember this November.
If you’re a serious shopper, you know November is the month to hit the stores. From sales to seasonal hours, it’s a holiday lover’s shopping nirvana. Come November, the streets of New Ulm will be alight with Christmas lights, trees, and décor to get you in the spirit. It’s never too soon to begin gathering your gifts for the season, from stocking stuffers to one-of-a-kind gifts to be treasured, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for at the shops of New Ulm. Be sure to mark your calendars with these dates for upcoming events at A to Zinnia and in the New Ulm community.
November 5th Holiday Hours Begin
Beginning on November 5th and running through the 23rd of December, we will be open until 7pm on weeknights. If you find yourself in need of a quick gift, swing by after work to check out all we have to offer.
November 5th - 7th - Holiday Shopping Opener/Open House at A to Zinnia
Everyone knows that the weekend of deer hunting opener is the perfect excuse to get out of the house and do a little shopping. We will be hosting our holiday open house all weekend long (in case you need to make a few trips.) We will have new + unique items for everyone on your list, from your in-laws to your closest friends. Make sure to check out other local shops as well, as the whole town of New Ulm participates in the fun of shopping opener.
November 13th – Group Classes Begin

November 25th – Thanksgiving
We will be closed on November 25th to allow our employees the chance to celebrate with their families. We wish you all a safe + happy Thanksgiving.
November 26th – Black Friday
No need to wake up early for a little shopping at A to Zinnia, as we will be open our regular business hours. On the evening of November 26th, New Ulm will be celebrating their parade of lights to kick off the holiday fun. All are welcome to join in this free event.
November 26th - 28th - Christmas Tree Open House
Starting on Black Friday we will be hosting our Christmas Tree Open House in our greenhouse. Begin a new family tradition by coming to A to Zinnia and picking out your tree + décor together. Runs through the weekend.
November 27th - Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is a chance for members of our community to show support for their local business owners. Get out in New Ulm and surrounding cities to see all our area has to offer. From restaurants and bars to shops and services, there is no shortage of businesses who would love your support this holiday season.
November 29th - Cyber Monday
Shop from the comfort of your couch on Cyber Monday! We have a plethora of items available at our online store, from candles + diffusers to hats, mittens, and boutique items. Check out AtoZinnia.com to find online-exclusive items that can be shipped right to your front door.
